Doctor, Doctor Gimme a Cure!
I am not saying Runners, Vegitarians, Non-Smokers, moderate drinkers, and those who get to bed early are healthier people, but today is my first sick day this school year.
Last year, I sick day. 2005, 1 sick day (and it was a great day :) 2001 - 2004, zero sick days.
Of course, Mags and Obizzle don't tell anyone, I'm still about to slip out for a run.
I'll let you know if the run makes me feel any better.
Hey Now, the last Burger was July after Vermont. After Arkansas, it was a yum-yum Veggie Pizza. I like Pizza, you can have my Pizza when you pry it from my cold dead fingers (oh, that's something else, but you get the idea!)
Hey, I must be really sick. I was sweating profusely and I wanted to throw up (oh yeah, it's 83 w/100% humidity and I was running sub-8 minute miles! That may explain it!) But I wasn't enjoying it, is I know I'm sick.
In the words of the good doctor..."You put the lime in the Coke, you nut/And drink it all up"...or something like that. Hope you're feeling better soon :)
BTW: Julie thinks its a wives' tale that you get sick when you play in the rain...maybe you proved her wrong.
Nah. Me, A-Man and Russ Baggett would routinely play handball against our garage door 'bout near every summer thunderstorm in Tampa. Didn't hurt us any then.
I becha it's that burger you ate after Arkansas...

ReplyDeleteFeel better ... snowed here last night, just a dusting, heading for the 60s on Saturday! Dare I head back into the woods?!

ReplyDeleteDogs kept me up last night. Two mile run was bad, so I ate an animal. Not the dogs.
ReplyDeleteAt least not your dogs!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh - Andyman, the picture of health sick!?! I did not see this coming!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better real soon.
I am staying away from you, Andy. I don't want to be sick. Hope you feel better soon. Let me know if you want some chicken (er, vegetable) soup.
ReplyDeleteI believe I am making a re-cover-re. Yes, I believe I"ll be back at work tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteLynne, I could still use the veggie soup though :-)
As for the rain, no, I think it was something I ate on Monday, I bet that was it.
