I knew it was this time:
So, I did it. Today I actually whipped out the Visa and paid the lady. I'm registered for the Pinhoti 100. I went to book a room and darn if the Jameson Inn isn't booked.
June, I hope you go, but if not, can I have your room :-)

Well it's about time then! I had read your post on the AT/Pinhoti decision and decided to nut up and enter. I'll be moving to Tampa in late august and intend to go for weekend long runs up at Croom. I'd definately like to do a few long or night runs with you're group of wise, "older than dirt" FUs. I'll be bothering you again in a month or so, just wanted to give you a heads up and connect with some Florida trail runners, there are far too few of us!

I LOVE Zombieland. And I hope Chris does too, because that's what you feel like running the trails in August in Florida: You basically hope someone beats you to death with their banjo.
I'm well aware! As a native Sarasotan I'm used to it by now, and it's a great excuse to run slow! You've also got to love the way the heat keeps away the dayhike/fannypack tourists;winter brings the Ohioan hordes to Myakka and Oscar Scherer SP. Anyway, I'm young therefore I'm invincible.
Nice!
Chris, I saw you'd signed up. That's awesome! Keep up with the list and come up to Croom when you can and we'll destroy Pinhoti!
AndyMan.
Is there a FL ultra list or something? Not sure what you meant by keep up with the list.
