What the hell is Amendment Two?
Chase -
It's the one that is nestled right between amendment 1 and amendment 3. It's also the one that, if passed, will prove to the rest of the country that Florida really is America's very own third-world country.
Amendment two defines marriage as an instution between one man and one women. it negates any same sex marriage from other states and countries. It negates any civil unions. It does not allow insurance to pass between any not married by Florida's definition. It does not recogonize domestic partners of same or opposite sex.
It is exactly like the laws from the old Jim Crow law days regarding inter-racial relationships.
To vote in favor of Amendment two automatically makes you prejudice, no other way to describe it, no other way. I also believe if you do not fight against amendment two you are prejudice and most likely homophobic.
That's just straight talk.
Oh, lord, why do people even care what someone else does, jeepers, marry whomever you want ...
Yeah, and fundamentalist Mormans don't like it either. Waddya mean marriage is between one man and ONE woman. You mean I can't keep the others?
Plus best way to stop them same sexers from having sex is to let 'em get married. Aint that right?
According to all of the Southern Baptists that I work with if you vote against Amebdment 2 then you are automatically in Al-Qaeda.
