Or you can meet me at 4 AM to run 20 miles around the neighborhoods of Carrolwood and stil have time to meet the Key Club. Given a choice, I'd run with Star instead.
As Ned Flanders says, "Kindly Deeds, Done for Free!" from Christian Rock AC/DC Tribute Band, AD/BC ...
I say screw the kids, they'll just wreck the playground anyway. True story, up in Lacoochee a bunch of volunteers built a playground for the children up there ... three months later, kids playing with matches burned it down.
I saw the AMan last Friday evening at 10:00. Don't know where he was going after that . . . but I will find out if he did help build the playground, and I will let you know : )
"You know what I call the guy who's DFL? A finisher!" Overhead at the back of the pack at Western States in 2009. It meant a lot more to me at the end than it did at mile 3 when I heard it.
"Hey were you DFL at Western States? So was I!" Some dude named Steve that I met at Umstead. He was DFL in 2006, I was DFL in 09.
Becky talking about the need for training partners, "It takes a village to run a 100-miler." June's reply, "Yeah, a village Idiot!" Priceless June Bug, priceless!
“We are not in a hurry anymore.” Roger to his crew as he entered Camp 10 Bear for the first time in the Vermont 100, Ouch! Darn evil doctors!
"Road Marathons Suck!" Words of wisdom from Professor ACG. Listen to him, he knows of what he speaks!
"It's slippery." From the dude lying on his back at the Alafia Trail 1/2, regarding the trail condition of the muddy downhill I was about to run. Thanks, now could you roll to the side.
"There is no Try, either Do or Do Not Do." Yoda. Ok, little man, that sounds like you have a Do-Do philosophy. There is no try may work for keeping the Dark Force at bay and saving an empire, but oh-great-wrinkled-one, we're talking about running 100 Miles. Now drop and give me 20, Mr. Jed-Eye!
To me, From an aid station volunteer at Ancient Oaks 100-mile trail run, "The difference is, You could do what I'm doing, I could never do what you are doing!"

Be a good-deed-doer tomorrow so you can run with me on Sunday :)
Good deeds are good to do. Plus after the night I have planned...

A2
I would pick up all he playground equipment and carry it with me around the trail at Croom. But that's just me.

Bring your bike to Croom and ride, ride, ride (after a run, run, run).
Good deeds are not as fun as dirty deeds and do not cancel them out either.

huh huh...chase said "coochee"...huh huh
I missed the poll, but... well, what did you do?
I made the pilgrimage to Croom on Saturday. I did not see the elusive A-man...
He was with me Sunday morning. Running, people, running. Not what you're thinking.
So, Roger...how'd it go???

If Aman would ever update his blog, we'd KNOW what he did, because there would be photos of him and needy children and stuff
Hey Blog Ghost? Will YOU write something. Please???
He has been seen alive by several people I know.
Text messaging usually gets quick response . .
