Run a New Old Route Today!

Make sure your Running Stays fresh so you'll stick with it. That's all I'm saying. Running is like a dog's butt... and well, on with the story, this is it:

Harly and me. We've been jogging around the same 2 mile loop for months. He kind of likes it, knows the smells, knows where the cats hang out (he loves to do the mock dart at them, knowing I'm going to stop him before he can feel the cold claws slash his mug!) Now, me, I'm getting tired of the same old thing, it zaps my enthusiam to run in the 'hood.

This morn, I said, enough, I took Harley on his familiar turf, and then I ventured North, out of my neighborhood and across Sligh! I ran by the river, I ran over a bridge, I came back over the other side. It was nice, it was fun, it was different.

I'm getting out of my rut, I think I'll do that route everyday!
