Yoikes! In The St. Nick of Time!

Alrighty, I've been back running a bit, a bit. And now that I'm healthy, I aint stoppin'. I can't!

Being injured and having the holidays together is not a great combination. Oh, there were signs that I was putting on weight. I was going to a wedding with my BLF and my suit fit like OJ's glove, only I wasn't trying to make the suit too small! When I tried to haul ass, it took me two trips! My friend Ercilia kept telling me how good I looked (Ercilia doesn't like slim people.) And lastly, I was ticketed while walking down the side of the road for not having a "Double Wide" warning sign!
Well, these "fears" were confirmed when I stepped on the scale this morining. I'm not pussyfooting around here, 195 pounds, ouch (said the scale.) I know when I was bitching and moaning during my failed slam run I was in the low 170's, yoikes, just gimme that!

Ok, no problem, the holiday's are over. The diet is back on. I'll be doing the exercise thing, today even, tomorrow even. I've got my bet with A2.

In the mean time, you can enjoy the re-incarnation of the Tail on the Scale! I'll be weighing in on Tuesday mornings.

Happy New Year Andy Man.....I feel in the same boat, but I've been working out consistently and still the pounds piled on due to all the crappy stuff I consumed!!! Happy Running, Healthy running in 2009 ! Your Pinellas County buddy, Terry

Terry, the tally a net gain of gulp, 22 pounds, in 3 months! Well, that explains why the comeback has been so slow, on the plus side, this may be the best time to try to swim the English Channel (floatation and water displacement don't you know!)

Well Andy, you may not think you look so great, but you do !

Remember, there's not a lot of calories in sushi, 'cept the tempura.

Sweet Sassy Frassy! You're exactly like Oprah, 'cept you don't wear a dress ... in public ... much.

If I may: start by taking the word "diet" out of your vacabulary and replacing it with "healthy lifestyle." It's something that will last longer than Oprah's latest scam diet.

And if that doesn't work, hike the entire AT or sell your stuff and set up camp in Alaska...I've heard that those are both sure-fire ways to lose lots (if not all) of your body fat.

Ok, everybody, let's just concentrate on what Lynne said, "Andy, you look great!"

Hey Karno, eat your heart out, and I'm not even rich!

Yeah, AMan, whatever, I'll eat my heart out, er, if there's any left. From the look and sound of things, you've already eaten everything in sight!

He shoots, he scores. Drop and give me 20, better make that 22 AMan!

Shoot, Ange, I only gained 16 pounds in the last three months. 'Course, I started at 230.

Well, I've gained about 3 or 4 pounds and feel terrible. I still haven't gotten on the scale.

It should be gone in a week if I'm good.

3 or 4 pounds, Lynne? That's, like, lunch.

Lynne, you are talking to unsympathetic ears. Take it from me: Never talk to anyone about your weight (gain or loss) if you weigh less than them. They're just jealous that you can still fit into jeans.

But I hear you, sister!
