If you can't con Roger out of a copy, look for this on Amazon:
I had no idea what to expect when I read this book. I knew Roger to be smart, but had no idea that he could write. I knew Roger could run, but didn't know how he felt about running.
All I can say is, people ask me all the time, "Why do you do it? What makes you run 100 miles?" Now I can tell them, "Read Hellgate, and if you don't understand then, you never will."
Well done Roger, bravo!

ps, SuperDave, don't tell Roger, but I'll send you my copy.

I'll read it when SuperD is finished with it !
...easy with the capital letters, lynne; we don't want roger to hear.
I knew I could count on you all to pass ONE free book around instead of spreading a little love to the author with an actual purchase! Nice. Thanks for the nice review Andy, I really do appreciate that.
er, yeah, when I said I'd send it, I meant that I'd Send the website for purchasing, yeah that's the ticket. (Avid-ay all-cay eh-may ater-lay ith-way or-yay address-ay)
Yeah, come on, Aman - Roger needs the $$$.
And I want Roger to Make the $$$, Surely I do (but not off my brother, I mean that's my brother man, we're almost like family!)
Hey, Mr. Anonymous, if I may call you that. Times are tough all around. I even have one of my cars for sale...the one that gets a stellar 6 MPG!
Andy, you can give ME the book since you stole my "Trigger Point Therapy" book.
I tell you who got good mileage: Chris Columbus. Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria. Hundreds of miles to the galleon.
Hey, Star I "borrowed" Tigger Happy Therapy (I stole Micheal Crichton, NEXT)
When people ask me, "Why do you do it? Why do you run 100 miles?"
I just tell them to quit ending sentences with prepositions.
THEN I tell them to read Roger's book.
THEN I tell them NOT to read Dean's book (although both are fiction).
I just ordered Hellgate on Amazon...and I didn't buy a Used copy. I hope you get more for it that way Roger. Andy, I'll send you the bill.
Speaking of good books...I'm still pushing *The Long Walk.* I can't believe that you UR's haven't read that one. Andy, you're NOT borrowing my copy!
"The Long Walk"?
Isn't that the chronicles of my last 30 miles at Umstead?
I don't know Prof...did you get shot???
No. That was Ken Matheny.
