It was Worth It!

Do you see these two sweet all-American girls? They started Literacy Leads to Hope. They popped over to TC and brought me my now favorite running award EVER, a trophy/plaque for my Ancient Oaks Run. They really think I did a great thing by running 100-miles and raising $1400 for their project in Kenya.

Guess what? I think that they are the ones that are special. When so many kids don't care at all, heck so many people don't care at all, they are pouring their hearts in something for one reason; to help others. Now you tell me who is special. Heck, you guys all know me, it aint me!

Thank you ladies, you made my day, you gave my race a purpose, and YOU give me HOPE for the future!

ps, don't worry Chase, I'll be mildly humorous and very cynical again tomorrow!

Wow! How cool is that? Them's a couple of pretty great gals right there!(but "Ann" is mis-spelled on their sweaters).
